Walking Faith Ministry has 2 houses where staff and interns reside, one church building with office, 3 Sidewalk Sunday School Trucks, 3 buses, 10 full-time staff & 6 sites throughout the city where God has opened doors to do ministry with children, teens and family. The ministry is growing and is a wonderful place for volunteers to help, people to learn and grow and for givers to give. Below is a brief description of the different ministries of Walking Faith Ministry.
Children's Activity Center 
The Children's Activity Center is our flagship ministry. It consists of two indoor Saturday Sunday School meetings. We bus children in from two different neighborhoods in SW Houston to have fun, powerful kidz church meetings. In these meetings, the fear of the Lord is fostered in an atmosphere of joy, peace and love_ giving place for the Word of God to come forth and anchor their souls in the Truth. The meeting is headed up by a wonderful mixture of staff, volunteers and interns.
Children's Activity Truck 
During the week, when it is harder to get children to come to an indoor meeting, we go to them. We have trucks that are specially designed to go to the neighborhoods and have outdoor meetings; these trucks are called "Children's Activity Truck". Right now, we do meetings in the 5th Ward, 3rd Ward and SunnySide. We show up at the same place and at the same time every week. The children know that we are coming and they are excited. When they get out of school they come running to the truck to help set up. After setting up we have a wonderful time together in songs, games and powerful Bible teaching and preaching. Our Bible Lessons are ministered in a way that help the children come out of the meeting with one single truth straight from the Bible; empowering them to make better choices in life and live for God.
Somethin' Good in the Hood 
In 2007 the Lord provided the help and resources to put a Basketball court on our ministry grounds. We use this to bring teens to church, that would otherwise stay away. Once a month, on a Sunday evening, we bus teenagers in from our sites to enjoy "Somethin' Good in the Hood". We generally play basketball, they enjoy a sit-down, barbecued meal in a family atmosphere and then we have a special time together of ministry and Word. This is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to get involved. Volunteers help prepare the meal, have fun with the youth and then take an active role in ministering to them and even mentoring them.
Gospel Lakes Ranch 
Walking Faith Ministry and Gospel Lakes Ranch in New Waverly Texas are partners in ministering the Gospel to the children of Houston's inner-city. Twice a year each of the children we minister to in Houston have the opportunity to spend a day at Gospel Lakes Ranch. They enjoy a wonderful day outside of the city where they can ride horses, fish, paddle-boat, have fun and most importantly hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to receive prayer.
